Yeah. It’s a little warped. Indulge me a moment while I bring you up to speed.
Admittedly, I have been lame on the posts. Primarily because Phoebe has been lame with her broken paw issue. We made things worse the first few weeks, then we regrouped. We had her sedated most of the time to keep her off her foot. Just when I had enough, we tried some medication that seemed very promising. While the medication definitely improved things, it was not the cure-all. Phoebe was able to walk on her injured foot, but was compensating for her bunk paw, making her all out of whack. It was time for the last stop shop: surgery.
Phoebe had surgery today to remove the broken bone fragments. When it was time to pay the bill, I just closed my eyes and handed over my debit card.
Once I got everything settled at home, I finally looked over the bill. I am thinking – “yeah. yeah. yeah.” Then I got to the bottom of the bill and saw that I received a “complimentary pedicure.” Wow! That is almost as good as buy-one-get-one-free!
Money Saving Tip
So the money saving tip is: to save $12 on a dog pedicure, just go ahead and send your dog in for surgery. It doesn’t matter why. I am sure anything will do. Hey, whatever it takes to save a buck.
